Oasis offer a full ticket refund after a power cut at their Heaton Park homecoming show in Manchester. Apparently it's going to cost them £3m. Or the company they hired the generator from. Ouch.

Manchester-based record label Factory Records was born 30 years ago. More than just music, Factory pioneered artwork and architecture which redefined Manchester in the 1980s and 90s.

Probably my favourite record label ever - for the cover art as well as the music.
